Release Date: 26-January-1995
Affected Versions: Version 1.40b and earlier
Symptoms: When running Excel 5.0 or greater on PC/Windows systems with the startup directory or folder forced to a user selected location, starting up Neuralyst, after using the TMLON command, does not enable or show the Trader’s Macro Library command in the Neural menu as it should.
Problem: The user settable default directory feature on Excel 5.0 allows the Excel macro sheet file, NEURLYST.XLM on Windows, to be found while causing the subsequent file search for TML.XLM to occur in the user set default directory rather than the Neuralyst startup directory, resulting in TML.XLM not being found. Solution: One solution is to copy the file TML.XLM to the user set default directory so that it can be found when NEURLYST.XLM is loaded. Neuralyst V1.40c, or greater, corrects this problem and remembers the directory in which NEURLYST.XLM on PC/Windows was started despite the default directory being set elsewhere. See Also: TN14-4
